FABRICATE 2017 Stuttgart

FABRICATE 2017, the third event in the series, was co-organised by the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD), University of Stuttgart, and The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and held at the ICD. Set in the heartland of German advanced manufacturing, it drew over 520 delegates and more than 250 project submissions, and included industry talks from leading fabricators.

Projects selected through the peer-reviewed Call for Work were presented in four sessions: Rethinking Production Futures, Rethinking Materialisation, Rethinking Additive Strategies and Rethinking Constructional Logics. The book, Rethinking Design & Construction, was launched at the conference and published Open Access by UCL Press.
